Injustice and other challenging issues can be addressed through telling short traditional wisdom tales from around the world. What students learn from a story is not what happens in the story but in their response to it. Creative response tasks lead to insights about how to make the world better. Let’s try activities from my chapter Storytelling for a Better World in the British Council downloadable book Integrating Global Issues in the Creative English Language Classroom with Reference to the United Nations Sustainable Development
